You need to do your own inner work before you can hold space for another. This workshop helps you to discover what you need to hold space for yourself first then how to hold space for another. If you feel you have what it takes then I look forward to this incredible journey with you.

Rosalia Pihlajasaari
I have been a birth doula since 2003 and have help thousands of people prepare for birth.
I began training doulas in 2007 and also founded DOSA - Doulas of Southern Africa. Currently I live in Finland and am honoured to be the Chairperson of Suomen Doulat for another year.
Over the years
I have trained and mentored 100's of doulas all over the world and keep in contact with the doulas I have trained as they continue to do the work they love.
It would be my honour and deepest joy to walk alongside new doulas as they find their way to giving more support to pregnant families.

I had done a previous doula training but was inspired by Rosalia because of her passion and depth of understanding the labour process from a purely physiological point of view. Her insights and intuition were instrumental in my completing my certification with her. She is still now one of my most trusted mentors.
Rose S
Rosalia explained even complicated topics simply. She guided all of us in the group to become sisters and friends and I think that even if some of us will only ever use the information for ourselves, it was worth doing. I'd do it again to feel so wonderful with others and learn more from Rosalia.
Dorcas M
I had been a carer before and thought that I could do something similar with pregnant mothers. I discovered a different world. I ma forever grateful to Rosalia because she shared so much in the training that I think it will take me my whole life to understand and absorb it all.
Felicia L
I didn't have much hope that I would be able to get work but after my training I was so inspired by what I learnt that I said to myself I had to give it my best shot. I'mm glad I did. I love this work like nothing else.
